Originally from Jonquiere, Quebec, Nadia made the move to Whistler, BC, in September 2000. She then moved to Squamish in 2015.
Nadia has a background in marketing, sales and events. She has always been very involved in the Sea to Sky community (and big in the motorsport community!). Nadia has her Business Management Diploma and Sports Marketing Certificate. She has always had a love for animals and it was after her dog Déjà passed away after battling bone cancer (at 10 ½ years old) that she took some time for herself and decided to make a change in her career for the better.
In order to pursue her love for animals, she began to volunteer her time with shelters and recuse organizations and opened up her home to foster dogs. Nadia is dog mom to 3 rescued bullies: George, Tundra and Niyah. She earned her Professional Dog Walking Certificate from Langara College, a Dog Trainer Foundations certificate from Karen Pryor, is a certified veterinary assistant and has earned a pet first aid certificate from Walks ‘N’ Wags. Tundra assisted Nadia with all of these courses.
In her spare time, you can find Nadia out exploring in the mountains either hiking, off-roading, dirt biking, snowmobiling or paddle boarding with Tundra along for the ride! Nadia also works part-time as a dog walker with Dog Haven.
