Born and raised in Squamish, Kaela has always been amazed by the beauty of this town. From a young age, she knew she wanted to work with animals, and began volunteering at Eagleview when she was in highschool. She then went on to complete the Animal Health Technology program at Thompson Rivers University to become a Veterinary Technician. Kaela has been the Lead Technician for a few years now at Eagleview, and her favourite parts of the job are working with an amazing team and being surrounded by animals everyday! In her spare time, you may find her out in the forest walking her small dog, Lady Erma.
