Lorissa was born in Squamish, B.C. and has lived here her whole life. Surrounded by animals since childhood, she was inspired to join the veterinary profession as an adult in 2022. She shares her home with the silliest senior chihuahua, Tuna, and her quirky cat, Queso. In her spare time, Lorissa enjoys fostering different creatures. She has also developed a professional interest in euthanasia services, with a focus on providing compassionate and respectful end-of-life care. If she isn’t with her pets, you can usually find her basking in the sun or curled up with a good book.
